Little Camping Lodge

We purchased our first camping lodge in April 2011. Our ‘Little Camping Lodge’ from Island Leisure is available for nightly hire. It is beautifully built, with double glazing and insulation and has been designed to make the most of the views. It sits in its own secluded corner overlooking the stunning scenery of the glen, but with the convenience of the showers and toilet facilities nearby. The Little Camping lodge is perfect for outdoor dining and relaxing with its own patio area and picnic bench ( please note no wood burning is allowed for safety reasons but you can bring your own barbecue and there are disposable BBQs available in the shop)

Excellent facilities inside

The Camping Lodge provides all the pleasures of camping but with many additional comforts. A double bed and bunk beds provide a comfortable night’s sleep for a maximum of four people with good hanging and storage space. The Lodge has electric lighting and heating, with TV/DVD, microwave, kettle and toaster and electric sockets for charging phones and cameras. However there is no bedding so remember to bring your own sleeping bags, towels and the other necessities for camping.

This fantastic alternative to a tent is ideal for walkers, cyclists or anyone wanting a little retreat. It is a great experience for families with small children, with the children very quickly getting the taste for camping and the outdoors.
